Kinship with Horses

Leslie Carlson, author of Kinship with Horses, helps the rider learn to communicate with their horse as a partner. She translates what the horse is communicating to their human partner by learned responses and body language as well as what the rider is communicating to their horse with programmed words, thoughts and body language. She helps the rider learn to transform his/her thoughts by de-programming learned behavior that is blocking their ability to have clear open communication with the horse as a partner. The rider learns to retrain his/her thinking to allow for transformations in their relationships.

To order Leslie Carlson's book, Kinship with Horses, or for more information, please click on the Kinship with Horses Book link on the left.

The Relationship Retreat focuses on the subtle energetic components of relationships in order to develop more effective and compassionate communication. In the retreat we examine the concept of projection and the role it plays in our inner actions with horses, others and ourselves.

The weekend long retreat on the farm bring the horse and rider back to a basis of having fun with each, relaxing and enjoying their time together taking quiet peaceful trail rides in the environment the horse enjoys most, nature.

Individual sessions with Leslie Carlson also available by appointment if it is not during a retreat.

MASSAGE THERAPY. Co-host Carl Lindgren, a certified massage therapist, is available on site. Massage is included in the weekend retreat. After a full day of riding, riders enjoy a relaxing and therapeutic massage.

MEALS: All meals are provided during the retreat. We use our own organic eggs and produce grown here on the farm. Meats are organic and locally produced.
